Constructive failure - Randy Komisar

Last month I briefly wrote about failure, and why failure as corporate culture is so important [1]. By accident I came across a really nice talk of Randy Komisar at Stanford.
Randy basically underlines that VC is the only business that gives cash to companies that are expected to fail in most cases. That's the business model of VC after all. In harsh contrast - big companies are doomed not to fail. Therefore they do not especially embrace a corporate culture of failure. Imho that's one of reasons why big companies have to innovate by buying small start-ups. Well. They buy those small companies from VCs. And VCs reinvest their money in new startups and so on... Failure always has something to do with "innovation". No failure - no innovation - for sure.
