Jeff Bezos' three rules for hiring new employees

Oldie but goodie. Jeff Bezos uses the following three metrics to assess new hires:

Will you admire this person?

Is this someone that you look up to? someone that insipres you? Someone you want to work with?

Will this person raise the average level of effectiveness of the group they’re entering?

This is self-explanatory. Does the person really improve how we work togther?

Along what dimension might this person be a superstar?
